About the Knights of Pythagoras
The North Carolina Order of the Knights of Pythagoras (NCKOP) is a nonprofit youth mentoring organization serving young men between the ages of 8 and 18. NCKOP is proudly sponsored by the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of North Carolina and operates as a structured mentoring program dedicated to developing the character, leadership, and life skills of our youth.

Our mission is to prepare young men for success in life by fostering personal responsibility, academic growth, leadership development, and community service. Through intentional mentorship and age-appropriate programming, NCKOP provides a positive, educational environment that supports the all-around development of each Knight.
NCKOP operates through local Knight Councils located in cities and towns across North Carolina. Each Council functions under the sponsorship and personal supervision of Prince Hall Masons and their respective subordinate lodges, ensuring consistent guidance, accountability, and adherence to our values and standards.
Our council, Crown of Youth Council # 12, functions under the sponsorship and supervision of Gray's Creek Lodge # 831.
As NCKOP continues to grow across the state, so does our commitment to expanding access to mentorship opportunities for young men and families seeking a structured, values-based youth organization.
